Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a reliable Residential Property Manager to oversee a local Soweto portfolio. This on-site role focuses on tenant relations, lease administration, and coordinating maintenance to ensure well-maintained properties and compliant operations.

You will be the primary contact for tenants and owners, addressing concerns, coordinating lease processes, and driving occupancy and property standards in the community.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Property Manager or in a similar role within residential real estate.
• Good understanding of landlord–tenant laws and property management best practices in Gauteng.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and resolve issues effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in property management software and basic accounting principles.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential properties in Soweto, ensuring occupancy and tenant satisfaction.
• Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
• Screen prospective tenants and manage leasing process, including lease prep and signing.
• Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and emergency services for properties.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure lease compliance and safety.
• Liaise with property owners to provide updates, financial reports, and recommendations.
