African Echoes Recruitment in Musina, Limpopo, seeks a skilled Sous Chef to assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and ensure high-quality dishes with lodge standards.

The role requires a recognised chef qualification and 6+ years in a professional kitchen, plus strong leadership, organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure. R10,000 monthly with semi-furnished live-in accommodation and discounted meals, located within the reserve.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' experience in a professional kitchen.
• RSA ID and legal residence essential.
• Valid Driver's Licence with the ability to drive confidently.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen.

• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.

Job description

REQUIREMENT:

• RSA ID and legal residence essential
• Valid Driver's Licence with the ability to drive confidently
• Computer literate
• Recognised Chef qualification
• Minimum 6 years' experience in a professional kitchen
• Previous experience in a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie role advantageous
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic (Non-negotiable)
• Promotes teamwork and harmony within the kitchen (Non-negotiable)
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
