Job summary

The Solutions Engineer sits in the Product team and delivers small projects end to end across Pedros’ integrations and internal tools, from gathering requirements through to build, testing, and release.

Working directly with Product Owners and business stakeholders, this role connects POS, digital ordering, payment, and back-office systems and builds tools that help Pedros Stores, Operations, and Finance work more efficiently.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ software or integration engineering experience (education counts).
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, with experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Experience with test practices (Postman, automated tests), Git, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Exposure to POS, payment, or food-ordering platforms advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements with Product Owners to map processes and define acceptance criteria for small projects.
• Design and document data flows, business rules, and integration touchpoints.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and file-based interfaces.
• Develop internal tools and automation using Python (FastAPI), React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and n8n.
• Plan testing (API, regression, end-to-end) and support UAT; release changes with proper change control.
