Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking a Solutions Development Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of secure, scalable technology solutions that support business growth and digital transformation across the organisation.

You will mentor high-performing teams, oversee vendors and partnerships, drive Agile and DevOps adoption, manage delivery KPIs, and continuously improve solution quality to maximise value for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field required.
• 8-10+ years in solutions engineering or delivery leadership.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, deployment, and support of technology solutions aligned to business objectives.
• Drive innovation through evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies, automation, and modern development practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, business analysts, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity specialists, and external vendors.
• Champion Agile, DevOps, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance delivery performance and solution quality.
• Develop and mentor high-performing technical teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Manage relationships with development partners and technology vendors to ensure quality service delivery and value creation.
• Establish and monitor delivery KPIs, reporting on solution performance, user satisfaction, and operational effectiveness.
• Identify and mitigate technical, operational, cybersecurity, and project delivery risks.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives and the development of customer-centric technology solutions.

• Proven experience leading development teams and delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, solution architecture, Agile delivery, and DevOps practices.
• Experience managing vendors, technology partners, and stakeholder relationships.

Tech Stack Experience Requirements

• System Architecture: Needs deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices.
• Flexibility: Focuses more on high-level design patterns than mastering just one specific language.
• Modern Standards: Must understand databases, APIs, and DevOps pipelines.

Advantageous Qualifications

• Honours Degree in a relevant field.
• TOGAF Foundation or Enterprise Architecture Certification.
• ITIL Foundation Certification.
• Project Management Certification such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK.
• Microsoft, Oracle, or other relevant technology certifications.
