Job summary

ZealHR's client, a JSE-listed manufacturing company with a significant national footprint, seeks a Solutions Development Manager to lead the design, development and delivery of innovative, secure and scalable technology solutions.

You will shape how solutions are designed and delivered, develop technical capability and play a key role in the organisation's digital transformation journey, driving Agile, DevOps and continuous improvement while mentoring high-performing teams.

Qualifications

A relevant Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
8–10+ years' substantial experience in solutions engineering, software development or solution development.
Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement ability.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, testing, deployment and support of IT solutions.
Identify and implement emerging technologies and automation opportunities.
Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate delivery across technology functions.
Drive Agile, DevOps and continuous improvement practices.
Build, mentor and develop technical teams.
Manage application development vendors and technology partners.
Monitor delivery performance, quality, milestones and productivity.
Identify and manage technical, operational, cybersecurity and project risks.
Support the organisation's broader digital transformation strategy.
