A leading financial services organization is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with strong data architecture expertise and financial services industry experience to support strategic initiatives within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) division.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and data-driven technology solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of complex banking environments, modern data platforms, and enterprise solution design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end solution architectures aligned with enterprise architecture frameworks and organizational strategy.
• Lead the design and implementation of data-centric solutions, including data platforms, integrations, and analytics capabilities.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and secure architecture designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data, infrastructure, security, and product teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural governance across the project lifecycle.
• Define and promote data architecture standards, integration patterns, and best practices.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, regulatory, and financial services governance standards.
• Conduct architecture reviews, solution design documentation, and technical assessments.
• Support the integration of legacy systems with modern platforms, including cloud-based technologies.
• Identify opportunities to enhance data management, data quality, and accessibility across the enterprise.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience working as a Solutions Architect within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong data architecture experience, including data modelling, data pipelines, and data platform design.
• Demonstrated experience within the financial services sector, preferably banking or capital markets.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale, distributed systems and integration architectures.
• Strong understanding of data integration, APIs, and modern data ecosystems.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar).
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and technical teams to drive architecture decisions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
• Experience with data warehousing, big data platforms, or analytics ecosystems.
• Familiarity with modern integration frameworks, microservices architecture, and API-led design.
• Experience working on large-scale transformation or digital modernization programmes in financial services
