Overview

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Solutions Architect to join our Management Consulting Advisory Team. The ideal candidate is a strategic technology leader with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and governing enterprise-scale architecture solutions, particularly within the financial services industry.

You will partner with business and technology leaders to translate strategic objectives into scalable, secure, and efficient architectures. This role demands both technical depth and business acumen, along with the ability to guide teams, influence decisions, and drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

Client-Facing Responsibilities

• Translate complex business needs into comprehensive architecture and solution designs.
• Lead end-to-end architectural design across systems, applications, data, and infrastructure.
• Conduct client workshops, architecture reviews, and technical discussions.
• Evaluate, select, and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms.
• Provide architectural oversight during project delivery to ensure alignment and scalability.
• Participate in architecture governance boards and ensure adherence to standards.
• Assess existing architectures and recommend modernization or optimization initiatives.

Internal / Organizational Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and develop architecture and consulting team members.
• Contribute to proposal development, RFPs, and go-to-market strategies.
• Promote knowledge sharing, thought leadership, and methodology enhancement.
• Oversee project architecture, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in software development, systems architecture, or related technical leadership roles.
• Proven track record as a Solutions Architect in large-scale, complex enterprise environments, ideally within financial services or consulting.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
• Expertise in architectural patterns such as microservices, layered, and event-driven systems.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern delivery practices.
• Skilled in API design, integration, and security frameworks (OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect).
• Proficiency with enterprise architecture tools like Sparx EA, ADOIT, ADONIS, or Bizagi.
• Familiarity with ArchiMate notation and architecture modeling best practices.
