Job summary

Ant Group, a global fintech leader, is seeking a senior strategic adviser in the Wes-Kaap region to shape customer journeys, influence senior leadership, and advance digital transformation in financial services and beyond.

You will translate industry needs into technical solutions, demonstrate product value, support pre-sales, collaborate with partners, and guide cross‑functional teams through architecture, integration and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in banking, insurance, securities, or financial services solution domain, with knowledge of industry regulation and compliance.
• Deep understanding of technical landscape, ecosystem and partners, and ability to guide customers through digital transformation.
• Ability to persuade C-level executives and guide digital transformation step by step.
• Familiarity with major fintech domains, cloud and AI platforms.
• Ability to work under pressure and think strategically about business, product and technical challenges.
• Fluent English; Mandarin a plus; excellent written communication and ability to document fintech solutions and architectures.

Job description

1. 1. Strong Leadership in the Fintech industry to develop their positioning and brand as executive, trusted advisor and thought leader in the market. Influences the mindset of customers by challenging the status-quo, bringing innovative ideas and showcasing the unique role that Ant Digital Technologies can play；
2. 2. A key driver of enabling new business models and bring their executive expertise to remove barriers and bring market trends to customer senior leadership teams which enables a shared vision on their innovation journey.；
3. 3. Capture, consolidate, and share industrial-specific best-practice knowledge and share with both inside the Ant Digital Technologies business, as well closely work with global and industrial eco-systems and associations, to leverage the strength of the industrial eco-system and bring the impact of Ant Digital Technologies；
4. 4. Understanding the unique requirements of customers and partners from key industries (such as Financial services, Telecommunications, Public sector, Digital Native etc.), helping to define their business and technical solutions and architecture based on Ant Digital Technologies products and services, including business and financial security, digital banking, financial cloud, intelligent marketing, AI agents and other solutions, ensuring that the solutions meet customers' business needs and compliance requirements；
5. 5. Technical Communication and Demonstration: Provide technical communication and product demonstrations for customers, introduce software functions, technical architecture, and advantages in an easy-to-understand manner, and answer customers' technical questions. Assist the sales team with pre-sales support, provide professional technical advice, and enhance customer confidence in the product；
6. 6. Solutions Ownership and Product Optimization: Collect overseas market trends, customer feedback, and competitor information, and provide feedback to the product development team. Provide valuable suggestions for function optimization and version upgrades of financial industry-related software products to better adapt to overseas market demands and competitive environments；
7. 7. Project Implementation and Delivery Support: During the project implementation phase, you will work closely with the development and implementation teams to provide technical guidance and solution explanations. You will assist in resolving technical difficulties encountered during project implementation, ensuring that the payment system is deployed and launched smoothly according to the design plan and operates stably. You will also participate in project acceptance checks to ensure that the deliverables meet customer expectations.

Description

1. 1. Bachelor's Degree (B.s./B.A.) in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent；
2. 2. Experienced in banking, insurance, securities, or financial service's solution domain, especially how the industry works, regulation and compliance requirement；
3. 3. In-depth understanding of technical landscape, ecosystem and partners, and demonstrate ability to to guide the customers to transform via digital transformation and via innovation methodologies；
4. 4. Have the ability to convince customer's C-level and handhold them to transform digitally step by step；
5. 5. Familiarity with any of major fintech domain, cloud and AI platforms；
6. 6. Able to work under pressure, and be able to think strategically about businesses, products and technical challenges；
7. 7. Fluent English speaking, Mandarin is a big plus. Excellent communication skills including writing, proofreading and editing skills, be able to create documentation that can express fintech solutions and architectures using text and diagrams.
