Job summary

Ant Group, a global fintech leader, is seeking a senior strategic adviser in the Wes-Kaap region to shape customer journeys, influence senior leadership, and advance digital transformation in financial services and beyond.

You will translate industry needs into technical solutions, demonstrate product value, support pre-sales, collaborate with partners, and guide cross‑functional teams through architecture, integration and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in banking, insurance, securities, or financial services solution domain, with knowledge of industry regulation and compliance.
• Deep understanding of technical landscape, ecosystem and partners, and ability to guide customers through digital transformation.
• Ability to persuade C-level executives and guide digital transformation step by step.
• Familiarity with major fintech domains, cloud and AI platforms.
• Ability to work under pressure and think strategically about business, product and technical challenges.
• Fluent English; Mandarin a plus; excellent written communication and ability to document fintech solutions and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Shape customer journeys and market positioning to influence executive leadership and thought leadership in fintech.
• Enable new business models by removing barriers and aligning market trends with customer senior leadership.
• Capture and share best practices, collaborating with global ecosystems and associations.
• Define business and technical solutions and architectures meeting regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical demonstrations, assist pre-sales, and improve customer confidence in products.
• Gather market feedback and collaborate with product teams for feature optimization tailored to overseas markets.
• Work with development and implementation teams to ensure smooth payment system deployment per design.
