Job summary

Jelocorp is seeking a qualified Human Resources Officer for its Cape Town operations in the renewable energy sector. The role involves managing HR administration, compliance, onboarding, and payroll coordination, requiring solid knowledge of South African labour legislation.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of HR experience in project environments and excellent organizational skills. This position supports both site-based and office-based employees, with responsibilities spanning the entire HR lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience within engineering, construction, infrastructure, or energy project environments.
• Experience supporting project-based or site-based workforce environments.

Responsibilities

• Support full HR lifecycle functions for both site-based and office-based employees.
• Coordinate recruitment processes including CV screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
• Draft and prepare employment contracts in line with South African labour legislation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.

Skills

South African citizen or permanent resident

Working knowledge of South African Labour Law

Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong administrative and organisational skills

Ability to work in fast-paced environments

Education

Diploma or Degree in Human Resources

Industrial Psychology or related field
