Sought Out Talent is seeking a Category Manager Solar to manage a portfolio of client accounts, drive high sales targets, and build sustainable client relationships across the RSA market. The role requires in-depth knowledge of solar products, SA standards, and the ability to provide technical support and advise on product specifications for industrial applications.

The candidate will design market strategies, coordinate launches, respond to client inquiries, and report weekly on market trends.

Qualifikationen

• Matric with electrical qualifications (B.Tech/BSc) or equivalent.
• Experience in solar sales for at least 5 years.
• Knowledge of South African National Standards (SANS) applicable to electrical equipment.

Aufgaben

• Analyse market and develop strategy per product offering and client base.
• Identify new product opportunities and position in client stores.
• Coordinate product launches and customer events within one month of stock receipt.
• Respond to client queries within 48 hours and prepare enquiries and quotes weekly.
• Provide feedback on market and competitive information to Category Manager weekly.
• Train clients and staff on products regularly.
• Generate new leads and convert them into sales weekly.
• Utilise demos and catalogs to promote product awareness at visits.
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver excellent service.
• Share improvement suggestions via market feedback to Category Manager weekly.
• Assist with exhibitions and event preparations for the brand.
