Job summary

Hcrecruit seeks a Solar Asset Manager in Constantia, Cape Town, to oversee and optimise a portfolio of solar assets, strengthening relationships with clients and stakeholders.

The role focuses on monitoring performance, revenue and costs, resolving operational issues, coordinating with O&M providers, and identifying opportunities to improve asset value, including refinancing or upgrades. Travel to sites may be required, reporting to management on asset performance and strategy.

Qualifications

• Portfolio management experience in solar assets.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience monitoring asset performance, revenue, costs and returns.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.
• Experience coordinating with O&M providers and contractors.
• Ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and asset value.
• Experience managing commercial and contractual requirements.
• Willingness to conduct site visits and provide management updates.
• Support for refinancing, upgrades and contract renewals.

• 2+ years’ experience in the solar energy sector.
