DigiCert in Cape Town is seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to join our team and support our US customer base. The role requires working US business hours and focuses on renewing contracts, expanding relationships, and delivering measurable business outcomes.

The successful candidate will drive renewal strategies, build trusted relationships with decision-makers, and guide customers to DigiCert’s support channels, contributing to reduced churn and increased adoption.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing full sales cycle (inside or field sales) in the software space.
• Ability to effectively navigate objections and challenges toward a win-win outcome and renewal.
• Experience facilitating customer meetings and presenting to an audience in a concise, inspiring and convincing manner.

Responsibilities

• Drive Renewal Strategy – Develop and execute retention strategies as part of the customer success plan for accounts
• Proactively Build Relationships – Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and Customers to influence adoption and customer success
• Supporting Customers – Guide Customers to support channels available as part of the value DigiCert provides
• Delivering Business Outcomes – Define business outcomes and orchestrate success plans with priorities, milestones, risks and metrics
• Mitigating Risk and Churn – Identify at-risk customers and mitigate churn with value optimization opportunities
• Enabling Customers – Demonstrate and educate Customers on relevant functionality and content resulting in increased adoption
• Delivering Insights – Promote insights relevant to customers’ workflow and feed back their experiences
