Qualifications

• Must have BS degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Managed Services and/or Staff Augmentation.
• Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Extensive knowledge of industry best practices in external resource development.
• Ability to partner and lead internal and external technology resources to solve complex business problems.
• Excellent understanding of data modeling, data manipulation languages, and storage systems.
• Experience in people management and achieving objectives through managing others.
• Proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and finalize requirements.
• Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
• Serve as initial escalation point for software development issues.
• Resolve complex bugs and work with complex data models.
• Manage the team: hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, and evaluating performance.
• Encourage staff to propose improvements and empower accountability.

• Be proficient with data manipulation language including optimization techniques

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with stakeholders to understand and finalize requirements
• Implementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
• Acting as the initial point of escalation for software development issues
• Completing complex bug fixes, resolving technical issues, and working with complex data models
• Managing your team, including hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, and giving appropriate feedback
• Encouraging new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations and empowering them to be accountable
