Job summary

Network Finance in South Africa is seeking a seasoned Lead Software Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy end-to-end solutions. You will lead architecture decisions and drive engineering excellence across cross-functional teams.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Product and QA, and champion DevSecOps practices while embracing cloud platforms and AI-driven enhancements to deliver scalable, secure software at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years' experience building full-stack web applications.
• 3+ years in a Lead or Senior Engineering role.
• Strong experience with .NET/C#, Node.js, or Java; frontend frameworks; and modern web tech.
• Cloud experience (Azure and/or AWS) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Agile delivery will be expected.
• Cloud, AI/LLM integration, and relevant certifications are advantageous.
