Job summary

ATS Client in Johannesburg seeks a senior software developer to write code from an ASD, participate in Scrum, and maintain accurate task views. You will collaborate with the Pool Lead and other team members to report progress and deliver high-quality software for financial services applications.

The role requires 8+ years of development experience and familiarity with 4GL languages such as Progress/OpenEdge.

• Must have fundamental proficiency in the relevant development environment and coding language.
• Requires basic problem-solving skills and the ability to clarify requirements.
• Good communication, proactivity, a quest for knowledge, lateral / logical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team under tight deadlines.
• Must be able to work in a logical manner.
