Job summary

ATS Client in Johannesburg seeks a senior software developer to write code from an ASD, participate in Scrum, and maintain accurate task views. You will collaborate with the Pool Lead and other team members to report progress and deliver high-quality software for financial services applications.

The role requires 8+ years of development experience and familiarity with 4GL languages such as Progress/OpenEdge.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of development experience.
• Fundamental proficiency in the relevant development environment and coding language.
• Good communication, proactivity, quest for knowledge, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or in a team under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Update and ensure the accuracy of Developer / Manager views in Task Manager by cross-checking with the status report.
• Write code according to a supplied Application Specification Document (ASD).
• Attend Scrum meetings, collaborate with other team members, and report progress to the team members.
• Work closely with the Pool Lead or functional owner.
