Job summary

Coetzeehr Consultants in Cape Town seeks a qualified Social Work Supervisor to provide professional supervision, guidance and support to social workers while ensuring delivery of quality social work and child protection services.

You will lead case reviews, monitor assessments and ensure SACSSP compliance, with a BSW and 5+ years of supervisory experience, including knowledge of statutory processes and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• A recognised Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or equivalent qualification.
• Current registration with SACSSP.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant social work experience including supervisory experience.
• Experience in child protection/statutory social work and knowledge of legislation.
• Strong supervision, case-management and assessment skills; valid driver’s licence and clear criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and clinical supervision and guidance to social workers and support staff.
• Review and monitor cases, assessments, intervention plans and professional reports.
• Guide staff on child protection, statutory and complex cases.
• Ensure compliance with SACSSP requirements, legislation and organisational policies.
• Monitor service delivery, facilitate case reviews and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
