Job description

This is a creative brand-building role where your job is to make Propr impossible to ignore. You'll own our social media presence across all channels and properties, telling the Propr story in a way that's authentic, engaging, and consistent. You'll report directly to the Growth Marketing Lead and work closely with them to ensure your content also fuels paid campaigns and lead generation activity.

What you’ll be doing

• Own all Propr social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok)
• Create and manage dedicated social pages for each apart hotel property
• Shoot and edit behind-the-scenes content - property reveals, team moments, guest experiences, new onboardings
• Develop and maintain a consistent content calendar across all channels and properties
• Build community engagement - responding to comments, DMs, and growing an audience
• Develop and maintain a distinct brand voice and visual identity across all platforms
• Produce creative assets, graphics, and video content for paid media campaigns
• Support the boosting of high-performing organic content in collaboration with the Growth Marketing Lead
• Showcase company news, milestones, and culture to support employer branding
• Work hard, take ownership, and be nice to people

• Based in Cape Town
• A natural storyteller with a strong eye for visual content
• Comfortable in front of and behind the camera
• Experienced in video editing - you know your way around tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar
• Understands the difference between content that looks good and content that performs
• Organised and consistent - you can stick to a content calendar without being chased
• Collaborative - you take briefs well and can translate strategy into creative
• Familiar with social media scheduling and analytics tools
• At least 2 years of hands-on social media or content creation experience
• Clear, confident communicator (written and verbal)
• You care about doing good work and making a real impact
