Job summary

Modern Day Talent in Cape Town is seeking a detail-oriented Social Media and Content Intern to support our marketing team. You will write blogs, newsletters, and LinkedIn posts, draft thought-leadership content, and help plan campaigns to raise brand awareness.

The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Social Media and Content Intern who is excited by the idea of: experimenting with different marketing strategies, doing deep-dives into social platforms, and supporting the conceptualisation of creative ideas to drive brand awareness.

You’ll support the marketing team with content creation and marketing initiatives that help attract both talent and international clients.

The ideal candidate is someone who loves writing, enjoys learning new tools, and wants to build a career in social media and content creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with content writing for blogs, website pages, newsletters, and social media
• Help draft LinkedIn posts and thought-leadership content
• Manage daily LinkedIn community engagement to build relationships with potential clients
• Support the creation of marketing materials and campaigns
• Conduct basic research for marketing topics and industry trends
• Assist with content planning and scheduling
• Support the team with creative marketing ideas and initiatives
