Job summary

Europa Worldwide Group is seeking a Security Operations Analyst to protect its IT systems with 24/7 monitoring and incident response. The role follows a four-day-on, four-day-off, 12-hour shift cycle to ensure continuous coverage and rapid action against threats.

You'll operate in the Security Operations Centre, detecting incidents, analyzing logs, and coordinating with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and email security tools. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in cyber security and SOC exposure.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within cyber security.
• 1+ years in a SOC role.
• Experience using and maintaining a SIEM solution.
• Experience using and maintaining Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technologies.
• Experience analysing emails (reading and understanding e-mail headers).
• Relevant qualifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to incidents quickly and effectively.
• Passionate about cyber security.

Responsibilities

• Perform 24/7 threat monitoring and incident response.
• Provide BAU support for security incidents.
• Respond to incidents and analyze security log data to identify root causes.
• Use SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and email security tools for threat detection.
• Monitor systems, networks, and apps for unusual activity.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and threat intelligence.
• Maintain security controls, policies, and procedures.
• Stay updated with latest cyber security threats and defences.
• Work under change control to ensure authorized changes.
• Provide first-line IT Helpdesk support outside standard hours.
