Placements24 is seeking a diligent Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction-site operations in the Tembisa area, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to plans. The role requires coordinating labor, subcontractors, and equipment while maintaining high quality and compliance with regulations.

You will lead site teams, read blueprints, manage daily reports, and collaborate with project managers to address site-specific issues and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and relevant regulations.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety best practices in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities, including coordinating labor, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site, conducting regular safety inspections.
• Monitor construction progress against project schedules and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage and direct site personnel, providing clear instructions and fostering a productive work environment.
• Maintain accurate daily site reports, documenting progress, issues, and personnel on site.
• Liaise with project managers and engineers to resolve site-specific issues and ensure adherence to design specifications.
