Lesaka Technologies seeks a skilled Site Reliability & Production Support Engineer to enhance the availability, performance, and resilience of production systems across South Africa. You will own incidents end-to-end, implement fixes, and coordinate with teams and providers to restore services quickly.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, automation, and improving monitoring, with on-call responsibility and a focus on durable, preventative improvements to complex financial services platforms.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in SRE, production engineering, or DevOps.
• Experience with incident management and on-call rotations.
• Strong troubleshooting across apps, DBs, OS, networks and cloud.
• Experience with cloud-hosted and on-prem workloads and automation.

Aufgaben

• Own production incidents from detection to resolution and communicate status.
• Improve monitoring, dashboards, logging, and tracing to reduce outages.
• Automate repetitive tasks and support runbooks and recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and external providers to implement fixes.
• Lead root cause analyses and drive prevention actions.
