Placements24 is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee construction activities across project sites in and around Centurion, Gauteng. This hands-on role requires strong leadership, organization, and a solid understanding of construction processes to deliver safely, on time, and within budget.

You will coordinate labour, manage plant and materials, and liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar supervisory role.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, project management, and quality standards.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel to different sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control the site according to project plans and safety regulations.
• Supervise and direct daily construction activities and labour force.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely, with attention to health and safety regulations.
• Manage site logistics, including plant, equipment, and material procurement.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
• Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets, reporting any deviations.
• Resolve site related issues and conflicts efficiently.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress photos, and accident reports.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders on site.
• Ensure site is clean, organized, and secure at the end of each day.
• Implement and enforce site safety plans and procedures.

About the Role
