Raubex Group Ltd. is seeking a Safety Officer to promote and maintain a safe, healthy, and legally compliant working environment on a Bloemfontein site.

This six-month Fixed-Term Contract role requires a hands-on presence to identify hazards, implement controls, and intervene when safety is at risk. The successful candidate will drive a positive HSE culture, conduct inspections, trainings, and manage HSE documentation while coordinating with management, contractors, and staff.

Qualifications

• A recognised Health & Safety qualification (SAMTRAC or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Health & Safety environment.
• Valid Code 8 / B driver's license and own transport.
• Reside in Bloemfontein or immediate surroundings.
• South African citizen; no criminal record.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Responsabilités

• Promote and maintain a safe working environment and comply with HSE standards.
• Monitor site HSE management plan and strategies.
• Conduct daily HSE inspections and risk assessments.
• Intervene to stop unsafe work and report findings.
• Coordinate HSE inductions and training.
• Maintain safety files and records.
