Job summary

RPO Recruitment’s client in Gauteng is seeking a dedicated Site Foreman to join the Johannesburg team. You will oversee daily site operations, supervise subcontractors, and act as the key link between site and management to ensure projects meet time, budget and specification targets.

The ideal candidate has a National Diploma in Building/Construction Management or similar, with 5–10 years in a similar role, plus strong planning, HSE, and project/quality management skills.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Building/Construction Management or similar.
• 5–10 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of corporate/construction environment and methodologies.
• Knowledge of SABS, NBR, NHBRC and H&S standards and regulatory requirements.
• Attention to detail and strong planning/organisational skills.
• Health and Safety Management, Project Management and Quality Management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site operations and supervise subcontractors.
• Coordinate between site and management to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead planning (programme management) and project implementation.
• Manage costs and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Enforce health, safety and regulatory compliance.
