Qualifications

• 5+ years' construction industry experience.
• At least 2 years' experience in a Foreman or Supervisory role.
• Experience managing site labour and subcontractors.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience working on residential, commercial, industrial, or civil construction projects.

Our client is seeking 2 experienced Site Foreman to join the Graaff Reinet team,

• Overseedaily site operations and construction activities
• Superviseartisans, labourers, and subcontractors to ensure productivity and qualityworkmanship
  
• Allocatework tasks and monitor performance against project schedules
• Ensureconstruction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, andproject requirements
• Coordinatesite resources, equipment, and labour to achieve project milestones
• Identifyand resolve site issues that may impact project delivery
• Ensure fullcompliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and company safetypolicies
• Conductdaily toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Enforce theuse of personal protective equipment (PPE) on site
• Identifyhazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks
• Report andinvestigate incidents, accidents, and near misses
• Inspectworkmanship and ensure work is completed to the required quality standards
• Monitormaterials and construction methods to ensure compliance with projectspecifications

Requirements
