Job summary

EnableSA Graaff-Reinet seeks two experienced Site Foremen to oversee daily site operations, supervise trades, and ensure work complies with drawings and schedules. You will coordinate resources, monitor progress, and enforce safety standards on residential, commercial, or civil projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' construction industry experience.
• At least 2 years' experience in a Foreman or Supervisory role.
• Experience managing site labour and subcontractors.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience working on residential, commercial, industrial, or civil construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and construction activities.
• Supervise artisans, labourers, and subcontractors to ensure productivity and quality workmanship.
• Allocate work tasks and monitor performance against project schedules.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate site resources, equipment, and labour to achieve project milestones.
• Identify and resolve site issues that may impact project delivery.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings; enforce PPE usage.
• Monitor attendance, timekeeping and workforce performance; minimise wastage.
