Job summary

Trending Talent Solutions is helping a leading South African feed producer in the Western Cape recruit a Shift Supervisor. You will coordinate production, supervise staff, monitor equipment operation and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role requires Grade 12, at least three years in the feed industry with supervisory experience, MS Office proficiency, a valid driver''s license, and readiness to work shifts and overtime.

A vacancy currently exists for a Shift Supervisor

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• Coordinating production through supervision of staff, time keeping and proper operation of all equipment;
• First line support for engineering breakdowns, generating work orders and maintaining plant standards;
• Ensure quality feed production;
• Commit and comply to the requirements of ISO, HACCP, 20 Keys and any other company management systems.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of Grade 12;
• At least 3 years in the feed industry with proven supervisory experience;
• Computer literacy with experience in MS Office;
• A valid driver's license
• Strong leadership ability;
• Problem solving and planning skills;
• Work effectively in a team environment;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Mechanically orientated;
• Pro-active and able to use own initiative;
• A high level of personal and professional integrity;
• Be prepared to work shifts and overtime on short notice.
