Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an organized Shift Supervisor to oversee production operations on assigned shifts at our East London facility. You will lead a team of production staff, drive targets, and uphold quality and safety standards through effective communication and hands-on supervision.

The ideal candidate has proven supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must have proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a production team during assigned shifts to ensure operational efficiency.
• Monitor production performance and implement measures to meet daily targets and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Address and resolve operational issues during the shift.
• Conduct checks on equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate shift records including output and incidents.
