Greys Recruitment is seeking a Shift-based Production Supervisor to lead and develop production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will monitor equipment performance, coordinate with maintenance, and drive safety, quality and continuous improvement across the operation.

The role requires a production leadership background, 4+ years in manufacturing supervision, and familiarity with capping production. Lean principles and strong problem-solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in capping production is essential.
• Knowledge of production planning, quality systems and lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership, people-management, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability and willingness to work shifts.
• FMCG manufacturing exposure is advantageous.

The Role

Lead shift-based production activities, ensuring output, efficiency, quality and safety targets are achieved. Supervise and develop production teams, monitor equipment performance and downtime, coordinate with maintenance and support functions, and drive continuous improvement across the operation.

What you bring:

• National Diploma or Degree in Production Management, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in capping production is essential.
• Experience in injection moulding or high-volume automated manufacturing will be advantageous.
• FMCG manufacturing exposure will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of production planning, quality systems and lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership, people-management, problem-solving and decision‑making skills.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability and willingness to work shifts.
