Job summary

Greys Personnel Durban is seeking a results-driven Production Supervisor to lead shift-based production activities, drive output, quality and safety targets, and manage teams to meet schedules.

You will monitor equipment performance, coordinate with maintenance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the operation, with a focus on lean principles and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• A National Diploma or degree in Production Management, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 4 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in capping production is essential.
• Experience in injection moulding or high-volume automated manufacturing will be advantageous.
• FMCG manufacturing exposure will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of production planning, quality systems and lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership, people-management, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
