Job summary

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) and an undergraduate NQF7 qualification in Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, Safety Management or Ergonomics Management.
• At least 4 years' supervisory experience in occupational health and safety and/or environmental management.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement workplace health and safety plans and procedures.
• Carry out safety risk assessments prior to starting a new project.
• Inspect equipment for unsafe workplace conditions and monitor compliance.
• Investigate accidents, determine causes and implement prevention measures.
• Maintain safety files and compile monthly reports for head office.
• Engage with stakeholders and support governance, risk and compliance activities.
