Qualifications

• Investigate incidents with root cause analysis.
• Implement and enforce compliance to OHS legislation.
• Conduct OHS audits and review safety management systems.
• Provide first responder assistance to medical emergencies.

Job Description

• Provide support and guidance to Managers on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) matters within the Group
• Investigate incidents using root cause analysis tools and compile incident reports
• Implement, monitor and enforce compliance to OHS legislation
• Conducting OHS audits
• Review and update safety management systems and related training programmes
• Monitor and report on all incidents and accidents
• Provide first responder assistance to medical emergencies (during and after hours)
• Compile and present Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports
• Participate in workplace committees and forums
• Assist and participate in fire-fighting operations
• Manage emergency preparedness of sites
• OD (Injury on Duty) mitigation and management
• Contractor management
• Site environmental management and compliance
• Maintain risk registers.
