Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance professional to lead and administer QA standards, procedures, and controls. You will implement and drive quality systems, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with FSC, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 22000 while aligning with SANS codes and best practices.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, excellent training and coaching abilities, and a methodical, detail-oriented approach to meet strict deadlines and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Suitable tertiary qualification in Quality Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with evidence of sustainable QMS implementation.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000, FSC standards.
• Good Manufacturing Practices and corporate governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Internal Audits and drive quality assurance standards and controls.
• Implement, drive and administer QA procedures, processes and guidelines.
• Mentor and coach staff on quality systems and best practices.

Job description

This hands-on position, reporting to the Production Manager, provides an ideal opportunity for a dynamic incumbent to implement, drive and administer and quality assurance standards, procedures, processes, and controls.

• Knowledge and understanding ofFSC (The Forest Stewardship Council)
• Suitable tertiary qualification in Quality Management;
• Subject matter expert in ISO 9001:2015 & 22000, FSC and
• Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Lead Internal Audits, Mentor and Coach.
• Minimum of 5 years experience together with evidence of sustainable implementation/management and applicable SANS codes, ISO 9001 QMS and related company and best practice guidelines and corporate governance.
• Experience in development and maintenance of QMS
• Understanding of basic technical information related to self -adhesive labelling concepts & materials
• Must be an enthusiastic team player and be results-driven.
  
• A methodical approach to work and the ability to continuously pay exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent Planning and Organizing Skills with Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work according to strict deadlines on a continuous basis with accuracy and speed;
• Excellent training and coaching skills with impeccable communication and report writing skills.
