Job summary

Epiroc’s Head Office in Boksburg seeks a SHEQ Officer to sustain and improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) across ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. You will coordinate audits, analyse data, and support compliance while guiding teams to operate safely and sustainably.

You will drive training, maintain records, and manage PPE and related administrative tasks to uphold governance and continuous improvement across South Africa.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Safety Management, Environmental Management, Quality Management, Risk Management or a related field.
• Experience coordinating audits and supporting compliance programmes.
• Strong administrative, organisational and project coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own, coordinate and maintain IMS in line with ISO 9001/14001/45001.
• Coordinate and administer internal, external and certification audits; track findings and close actions.
• Analyse and report SHEQ performance data to support management reviews and improvements.
• Support compliance and risk management processes, maintaining risk registers and control measures.
• Manage SHEQ administration: contractor compliance, chemical and waste management, records.
• Drive SHEQ awareness through training and promote a safety culture.
• Coordinate ECS activities and reporting with the Epiroc Group governance.
• Manage PPE compliance and issuance for Head Office operations.
