Job summary

A leading safety and compliance organization is seeking a SHEQ Manager in Johannesburg. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and operational excellence of safety, health, environment, and quality standards across operations. The ideal candidate will have a National Diploma in Safety Management, with over 8 years of experience in SHEQ roles, including managerial experience. Responsibilities include managing SHEQ frameworks, compliance, risk management, and leading audits, while providing regular reports to the executive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in SHEQ, Safety, Risk, or Compliance roles.
• At least 2 years managerial experience in SHEQ.
• Experience with higher-risk operational activities.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all SHEQ operations across Tracker.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Lead SHEQ audits and report governance to the Board.
