Job summary

Oxyon People Solutions in Vereeniging seeks a dedicated SHEQ professional to coordinate activities across operational sites, plan and report on performance, and drive compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SQAS Africa, RTMS and RTS standards.

You will investigate incidents, conduct safety inspections, manage PPE, prepare monthly reports, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SHEQ activities across sites
• Plan, monitor, communicate and report on SHEQ performance
• Conduct internal and external audits and compile audit reports
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SQAS Africa, RTMS and RTS standards
• Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses and customer complaints
• Compile incident investigation reports and corrective action plans
• Register IOD incidents and manage related documentation
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments and site inspections
• Facilitate emergency preparedness exercises and safety meetings
• Develop, review and maintain SHEQ policies, procedures and work instructions
• Compile monthly SHEQ reports and performance statistics
• Manage PPE requirements, stock control and distribution
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure compliance and operational excellence
