Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a Senior SHEQ Analyst to drive compliance and risk management across Durban North operations. The role focuses on root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and proactive safety culture to sustain environmental and safety standards.

You will monitor regulatory requirements, support system improvements, and engage stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and documentation in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• SHEQ-related tertiary qualification is required.
• SAMTRAC certification is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in a SHEQ environment.
• Proven experience conducting incident and accident investigations.
• Strong understanding of Environmental Acts and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive SHEQ compliance and best practices across operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and lead HIRA processes.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Support development and continuous improvement of SHEQ management systems.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across the organisation.
• Ensure accurate SHEQ reporting, documentation, and record management.
• Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Support environmental risk management and sustainability initiatives.
