Job summary

Sibanye Stillwater is seeking a risk-focused professional based in Rustenburg, North West, South Africa. The role concentrates on establishing and maintaining administrative systems to support risk management programs and governance across mining operations.

The incumbent will liaise with stakeholders, gather and consolidate risk data, and develop risk mitigation initiatives, while supporting organisational development and safety initiatives in line with ISO 45001 standards.

Qualifications

• Must have NQF 4 / Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license (if applicable).
• Clear security screening record.
• Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
• Minimum 3 years’ technical qualification applied experience.
• Mining - Blasting Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Liaising and data sharing with stakeholders.
• Documenting requirements and ensuring documentation is completed.
• Resolve stakeholder queries or escalate if unresolved.
• Remind stakeholders of committed risk mitigation actions prior to expiry date.
• Contribute to building a values-based organisational culture.
• Support execution of segment-specific organisational development plans.
• Document administration and maintenance; prepare risk documentation and templates.
• Maintain risk databases and risk information; perform business impact analysis.
• Assist in establishing risk mitigation plans and interventions.
• Provide training and coaching on risk management systems and processes.
• Facilitate risk assessments including baseline, issue-based and Bowties.
• Assist in incident investigations; contribute to SHE programmes aligned to ISO 45001.
• Focus on safe production, safety, health and operational excellence.
