Gauteng Provincial Government, Department of Health, is seeking a Podiatrist to assess and treat patients in both in- and out-patient settings in Gauteng, South Africa. The incumbent will support department programmes and quality assurance activities while maintaining HPCSA registration requirements.

The role requires a National Senior Certificate with a podiatry qualification and current HPCSA registration.

Qualifikationen

• National Senior Certificate/Matric Grade 12 with an appropriate podiatry qualification.
• Current HPCSA independent practitioner registration in Podiatry for 2026/2027.
• No experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

• Package : Grade 1 R273.00 per hour; Grade 2 R273.00.00 per hour; Grade 3 R373.00.00 per hour

Requirements :

• National Senior Certificate/Matric grade 12 plus an appropriate qualification that allows for registration with the HPCSA as Podiatry, Current registration with the Health Professional council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an independent practitioner in Podiatrist for 2026/2027. No experience required. Sound interpersonal and communication skills, Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment. Ability to work under pressure. Have analytical and creative skills and be adaptable.

Duties :

• Assessment and treatment of in and out-patients. Assist in department administrative activities, quality assurance and evidence-based programmes. Contribute positively towards the development and growth of the Podiatry Department. Participate in and contribute towards Professional departments programmes.
