Job summary

Communicate Recruitment is seeking a Service Manager to lead technical service operations and field teams within an industrial refrigeration and compressor environment. You will drive service delivery, plan resources, and improve response times and operational efficiency.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in industrial refrigeration or rotating equipment maintenance, and 2+ years in service leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in industrial refrigeration or rotating equipment maintenance.
• 2+ years’ experience in a service management or team leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of compressors, electrical systems, and PLC controls.
• Experience leading field service teams and managing service operations.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in industrial refrigeration or rotating equipment maintenance
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a service management, supervisory, or team leadership role
• Strong technical knowledge of compressors, electrical systems, and PLC controls
• Solid experience leading field service teams and managing service operations
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with industrial refrigeration systems and compressor maintenance
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• SAQCC Gas Category B8 license will be advantageous
