Job summary

STADIO is inviting applications for the position of Lecturer – Financial Management and Accounting at the Centurion Campus. The lecturer will deliver high-quality teaching, assessment and student support in the school of commerce, with a focus on financial management and accounting modules.

The lecturer will facilitate student learning and success, contribute to the quality and relevance of the curriculum, and engage in research and accredited publication.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an NQF 8 with a specialisation in financial management and accounting.
• Experience lecturing in blended contact learning and online environments using LMS and video conferencing (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
• Relevant industry experience in business, ideally with industry board involvement.

Responsibilities

• Lecture and assess contact learning students in accounting and financial management modules.
• Conduct assessments, including marking and moderation.
• Uphold quality assurance standards in teaching and assessment.
• Provide academic support to promote student success.
• Contribute to curriculum development, review and transformation.
• Produce accredited research publications and contribute to thought leadership.
• Engage in industry liaison, community engagement and institutional involvement.
• Provide academic leadership, including mentoring and staff development.
