Job summary

pick npay is seeking a person to manage stock and merchandising in a Cape Town store. You will ensure correct pricing, stock rotation, and safe handling of goods while delivering friendly service and promoting products.

The role requires Grade 12 and English communication, with computer literacy an advantage. This is a full‑time on‑site position in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Computer literacy - advantageous.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Stack and store products in a safe and tidy manner.
• Merchandise products according to laid down standards.
• Correctly price random weight/loose selling items.
• Check correct pricing e.g. labels.
• Check quality, rotate stock, remove expired stock.
• Prevent wastage/shrinkage/damages.
• Check temperatures/maintain the cold chain (if applicable).
• Adhere to and maintain security procedures.
• Operate and clean equipment according to laid down standards.
• Assist customers and respond to requests in a courteous, business‑like manner.
• Process customer orders according to correct procedures and service standards.
• Promote products.
