Job summary

picknpay in Durban North is seeking a reliable team member to prepare or wrap products, stock shelves, and uphold hygiene and safe working standards in store operations.

Key duties include pricing, checking labels, rotating stock, preventing waste, customer engagement and processing orders, while complying with security procedures. Grade 12 and basic English communication are required; computer literacy is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent educational level.
• Computer literacy is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Stack and store products in a safe and tidy manner.
• Merchandise products according to laid down standards.
• Correctly price random weight/loose selling items.
• Check correct pricing and labels for accuracy.
• Check quality, rotate stock and remove expired stock.
• Prevent wastage, shrinkage and damages in the store.
• Check temperatures and maintain the cold chain where applicable.
• In adherence to and maintenance of security procedures.
• Operate and clean equipment according to laid down standards.
• Approach and advise customers, listen to requests, provide the required products or services, and interact in a courteous, business-like manner.
• Process all customer orders according to correct procedures and service standards.
• Promote products to customers.
