WPP Media Limited in Cape Town is seeking a proactive SEO Specialist to drive day-to-day activity under the Total Search strategy. You will work across GEO, GSO and AI-search visibility, aligning with paid search, content, and PR to improve overall brand presence.

You’ll conduct keyword research, perform technical SEO audits, create content briefs, and monitor rankings and traffic. The role requires hands-on experience and the ability to deliver clear recommendations with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SEO experience with ability to implement improvements.
• Practical GEO/GSO or AI-search optimisation experience.
• Examples of improved visibility in AI-generated answers.
• Understanding of total search or cross-channel approaches.
• Knowledge of technical, on-page and content SEO.
• Experience with analytics and SEO tools.
• Ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations.

Responsabilités

• Perform keyword, competitor and search-intent research.
• Conduct technical SEO audits covering crawling, indexing, and site structure.
• Produce prioritised recommendations and support implementation.
• Create content briefs and optimise copy, metadata, and linking.
• Monitor organic visibility, rankings, traffic, engagement, and conversions.
• Maintain SEO roadmaps, delivery trackers and reports.
• Identify issues and opportunities with limited supervision.
