Kontak, a UK-based specialist digital agency, invites an SEO Account Manager to join remotely from South Africa. You will own client relationships, translate data into actionable insights and drive performance for SEO retainers without hard sales targets.

You\'ll present monthly reviews, collaborate with the SEO team, and nurture international clients while keeping campaigns on track and clients confident about their investment.

Qualificações

• 3 to 5 years of agency account management experience.
• At least 2 years managing SEO retainers.
• Ability to explain GA4, Search Console, rank tracking and local SEO to business owners.
• Confident leading client meetings and handling difficult conversations.
• Experience with international clients (UK-based) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with local SEO for multi-location or healthcare-type businesses is a bonus.

A UK based, specialist digital agency is looking for a skilled relationship builder to step into a key account management role. The business serves a dedicated client base through ongoing SEO retainers, and the team is known for delivering results that actually move the needle for the businesses they work with. This is a fully remote opportunity with genuine flexibility, built for someone who takes pride in keeping clients informed and confident rather than just ticking boxes.

This role is for the person who genuinely enjoys being the face of a campaign. Not the one writing the code or pulling the technical levers behind the scenes, but the one who can sit across from a business owner, explain what the numbers mean in plain language, and leave them feeling like their investment is in good hands. The SEO Account Manager will own the client relationship from regular check-ins to monthly performance reviews, working closely with the SEO team to make sure every client gets what they need and knows about it.

Minimum Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in agency account management or client services
• At least 2 of those years spent managing SEO retainers specifically
• Able to explain GA4, Search Console, rank tracking and local SEO performance to a business owner without losing them in jargon
• Confident leading regular client meetings, including the difficult conversations
• Enough SEO depth to hold your own with clients and brief the SEO team with precision
• Personable, self-directed and comfortable owning a client relationship without hand-holding
• Experience with international clients, ideally UK-based, is advantageous but not essential
• Familiarity with local SEO for multi-location or healthcare-type businesses is a bonus
• Hands-on experience with reporting and rank tracking tools is a plus
