Placements24 in Upington seeks a skilled Pipeline Engineer to join our infrastructure team. You will design, construct, maintain and ensure integrity of oil and gas pipeline systems, while meeting safety, environmental and regulatory standards in a challenging energy sector.

You will work on route selection, materials, construction methods, and integrity programs, perform risk assessments, and supervise construction and commissioning to ensure compliance with design specs and codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pipeline engineering with design, construction, or integrity management.
• Strong understanding of pipeline codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.4, API 1160).
• Experience with pipeline materials, welding, corrosion control, and cathodic protection.
• Proficiency in relevant pipeline design and simulation software.
