Placements24 is seeking an experienced Water Resources Civil Engineer to join our client’s team in Paarl, Western Cape. The role will plan, design, and manage water-related infrastructure, including water supply, wastewater treatment, and flood control, collaborating with government bodies and partners.

You will apply hydrology and hydraulics expertise, develop detailed designs, and ensure regulatory compliance while staying at the forefront of water resource management technologies.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Pr. Eng) required.
• At least 8 years of relevant water resources engineering experience.
• Proficiency in hydraulic and hydrological modeling software (EPANET, HEC-RAS, SWMM).
• Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Experience in dam design, canal design, or river engineering is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and travel to project sites in Paarl.
