Placements24 is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Lead for our client in East London. The role focuses on directing daily warehouse activities, optimizing workflow, and ensuring safety and efficiency across receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.

The ideal candidate brings proven leadership in warehouse settings, strong WMS and inventory control knowledge, and a track record of maintaining high safety standards while improving productivity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management experience.
• Excellent understanding of warehouse safety standards.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Problem-solving and decisive decision-making in an operational context.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure safety procedures and regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy investigations.
• Implement and refine SOPs to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate warehouse activities with business operations.
